Sarbat in USA
August 12th, 2013 by sarbat

Dear Sarbat Supporters and friends

It’s finally time. Sarbat is visiting New York City on the 1st and 2nd of November 2013 for our very first event in the USA. Two Sarbat facilitators are visiting the US and hoping to get as many of you attending for a friendly coffee social/discussion.

Fri 1st November 20138 pm at Project Reach , 39 Eldridge St, 4th Floor, New York, New York 10002 for our welcome discussion. The event will start with an introduction about Sarbat and what we stand for. The introduction will be followed by a discussion involving you all about LGBT Sikh topics and issues faced by LGBT Sikhs in the US & UK. We aim to begin at 8 pm so you’re welcome to arrive from 730pm onwards.

The event is free of charge but a donation (howsoever small) towards Project Reach would be really appreciated – find out more about Project Reach here.

Sat 2nd November 2013 – 11 am The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. We will meet at the Gansevoor Street Stairs for the High Line at 11 am for a walk on New Yorks newest attraction. Have a look at the map here to get an idea of our meeting place. An American Brunch will be followed in the area upon finishing.(Open to suggestions – Although this link does have a few interesting places to choose from)

Everyone is welcome but please rsvp so that we have an idea about the number of people attending. Thanks for your support & Please make sure you join our newsletter .If you have any questions or comments please contact Kam on +1 702 901 2220.
